The experimental Study of Saengwhoatang(生化湯) and Boheotang(補虛湯) on the analgesic and movement of isolated uterine muscle

Abstract
|
|
|
This Paper was carried out to evaluate the effects Saengwhoatang and Boheotang on the analgesic and movement of isolated uterine muscle of experimental animals
The results of this Paper were as follows:
1. Administration of Saengwhoatang inhibited significantly the writhing syndrome induced by acetic acid in mice
2. Administration of Boheotang didn´t inhibite the writhing syndrome induced by acetic acid in mice
3. Administration of Saengwhoatang inhibited significantly the contractility of isolated rat uterus but when Saengwhoatang 1,000㎍/㎖ was administered, the contractility of isolated rat uterus was relaxed.
4. Administration of Boheotang relaxed the contractility of isolated rat uterus
5. Administration of Saengwhoatang inhibited significantly the contraction frequency of isolated rat uterus
6. Administration of Boheotang relaxed the contraction frequency of isolated rat uterus
